After two critically acclaimed compilations, DJ and collector Miche returns to Mr Bongo with the third volume of his With Love series. More than just a follow-up, this new opus marks an evolution in his selection, with a broader and deeper exploration of rare and independent music from around the world. Still true to the soulful spirit of the series, this volume places greater emphasis on jazz this time, with tracks like Sundance by the Late Nite Music Band or In Flight by Spectrym. It also features elusive soul gems like Ain't Nothing Like The Love by John Simmons, alongside obscure groups such as Le Cop or New Way. Another new development: Miche incorporates little-known Turkish tracks, such as Golge by Nükhet Ruacan, a jewel inspired by Brazil, as well as a stopover in Brazil with the samba-funk groove of Amargo Amar by Carlos Bivar. This selection, both eclectic and coherent, reflects Miche's musical openness and his desire to uncover forgotten treasures.
