For its 15th anniversary, 'Le Soldat Rose' is donning its finest costume in a new 2LP color edition, a limited edition of 30 songs to be released on October 6, 2023. Le Soldat Rose includes the songs: "La Voix De Grand Magasin 1", "La Voix De Grand Magasin 2", "La Voix De Grand Magasin 5", "Chien Et Chat" and many others. It's the story of Little Joseph, who, tired of the adult world, takes refuge in a department store to live with the toys. When night falls, hidden in an aisle, he sees the toys come to life. Joseph then encounters several characters who observe him with astonishment. One toy stands out: the Pink Soldier. He has been in the department store for many years, because no one wants him. Boys don't like his pink color and little girls don't want a soldier. Joseph will experience, for one night, an extraordinary adventure exploring the aisles meeting all these characters with "his child's eyes". 'Le Soldat Rose' was born in 2006 as a musical tale, composed by Louis Chedid, written by Pierre-Dominique Burgaud and illustrated by Cyril Houplain. Awarded the Victoire de la Musique for best song album - varieties of the year in 2007, it sold over 500,000 copies. A few days after the release of this album, two exceptional concerts were presented at the Grand Rex in Paris with the original performers (Jeanne Cherhal, -M-, Vanessa Paradis...). It was also broadcast on France 2 with record viewership. Subsequently, the tale was adapted into a musical show, directed by Shirley & Dino. This show toured throughout France for several years.
