The 40th-anniversary compilation of the Jazz à Vienne festival! To celebrate this anniversary, the festival has teamed up with the Heavenly Sweetness label to celebrate jazz. This compilation is in two parts: the first looks back at a prestigious past (PAST) and the other looks to the future (FUTURE). PAST: the best live moments from the ancient theater of Vienne. Featuring prestigious names in jazz (McCoy Tyner, Romano - Sclavis - Texier trio, Hank Jones & Milt Jackson, Lalo Schiffrin...), groove (Roy Hargrove), and world music (Gilberto Gil, Banda Municipal de Santiago de Cuba). FUTURE: a selection of the best young artists from the French jazz scene, chosen following a multi-month call for applications.
