Strut presents the first retrospective of the famous house label DANCE MANIA. Covering the best tracks from 1986 to 1997, Strut reveals the classics of the CHICAGO label as well as rare gems long unavailable. It was coordinated with RAY BARNEY & PARRIS MITCHELL, the founders of the label. Its first hits are "7 Ways" by Hercules (Marshall Jefferson), Li'l Louis' "The Original Video Clash," and "House Nation" by Housemaster Boyz. During the 80s, the ghetto sound of DANCE MANIA maxis turned dancefloors around the world. During the 90s, the sound became harder with hits like "Hit It From The Back" by Traxmen& Eric Martin. The most famous artists on the label are: Paul Johnson, DJ Deeon, DJ Funk, DJ Milton, Waxmaster & Slugo.
