FRAGMENTS: the album project celebrating the music of yesterday and today by inviting some of today's most innovative artists - enters its second season by reworking the compositions of the famous composer Lili Boulanger. Following the enormous success of FRAGMENTS I centered on the French composer Erik Satie, FRAGMENTS II now chooses to dive into the universe of the composer Lili Boulanger who, despite her short life, was strongly influenced by the social, the societal, and art and inspired the artistic scene as well as future artists and musicians. FRAGMENTS: Lili Boulanger aims to highlight not a woman who composes, but a composer who is a woman and to show the world her work as well as the role that her pieces can play in a modern setting. The result is a distinctive sound world characterized by each artist's unique musical journey as an individual and as a collective, showing their admiration for Lili Boulanger and translating the past into their own current sonic atmosphere.
