Following the success of the first volume, Heavenly Sweetness returns with the next installment of DIGITAL ZANDOLI adventures, a compilation that captivated all fans of Antillean music as well as electronic music. Many DJs across Europe began playing these tropical synthetic sounds, and there is great anticipation for the sequel. Julien Digger's Diggest and Nicolas Skliris have curated a new selection of funk, electro, and zouk from the French Antilles. These are gems, unknown tracks that connoisseurs are eagerly rediscovering. These tracks reveal the desire for singularity among Antillean musicians, a fusion of traditional rhythms with other musical genres (funk, disco, Afro-beat, Latin-Brazilian...), incorporating new instruments like drum machines and synthesizers into the creative process. Many zouk albums from this period often featured one or more tracks that could be described as "proto-zouk," "funky-zouk," or "boogie-zouk" to highlight the fusion of genres.
