A compilation created in collaboration between the online audio magazine Aquarium Drunkard and Org Music. Far from being a classic Brazilian music compilation, these ten tracks highlight a new generation of artists who reinterpret their country's musical heritage with boldness and originality, moving away from traditional sounds such as bossa nova or tropicalia. Although these tracks are not in the vein of bossa nova or tropicalia, they share the same tradition of cultural fusion, seamlessly blending styles from abroad and Brazil, and blurring the boundaries of genres. The album is illustrated by renowned visual artist Robbie Simon and includes a booklet containing detailed notes by Brazilian musicologist Allen Thayer.
