Originally released in 2020, this project, conceived as a mixtape, condenses five tracks that are both radical and raw, for a quarter of an hour of a ghostly and thrilling ride. Compressed and melodic, dark and iridescent, lyrical and modern, Ultra Tape offers, according to the artist, "a somewhat desperate vision of life and the world, adding a small note of hope."The cover, signed by Swiss illustrator Dexter Maurer, extends Muddy Monk's singular visual universe.
