For their new and fourth album, "Putan de cançon," Moussu T e lei Jovents deliver a more Brazilian and undoubtedly more electric sound. "Putan de cançon," which translates to "damn song," is their way of referring to the long list of humanity's misfortunes that overwhelm us and ultimately leave us feeling powerless. And it is indeed to regain hope, desire, strength, and motivation that they sing, opposing their songs to this "putan de cançon." Damn song for a damn time, this is the title of this damn record (the fourth) released by Tatou and his Jovents. Damn times are evoked in the first two tracks. After extensively exploring the music present in the Marseille melting pot of the 30s (jazz, Caribbean music, Provençal songs...), the new album by Moussu T e lei Jovents highlights their influences from Brazil's Nordeste.
