Kristine Leschper returns with her band Mothers for a second album between folk and indie rock with perfect songwriting. Render Another Ugly Method is the new record by Kristine Leschper accompanied by her band Mothers of which she is the songwriter and founder. She tried to gain a broader view of the environment surrounding her by relying on different sounds and images present around her. Leschper explored songwriting when she moved to Athens, Georgia, and was still a teenager. She began working with local musicians like Matthew Anderegg who became a mentor and a friend. "When You Walk A Long Distance You Are Tired," an explosive and surprising indie rock album, is her first record released in 2016 under the name of Mothers. With Mothers, Leschper and Anderegg have remained true to their creative ideas while working with other collaborators like Chris Goggans and Drew Kirby. This new album was produced and mixed by John Congleton who notably produced Angel Olsen, Goldfrapp, and Kimbra. Leschper returns to softer sounds closer to folk.
