Although criticized upon its release in 2003, this fourth opus by the Norwegians is now considered the band's most daring and experimental work.
Recorded and produced with David Bergstrand and Örjan Örnkloo (Meshuggah, Devin Townsend, In Flames, Dark Funeral), this album was given a gargantuan wall of sound by the Swedes, resulting in a different sound from MÖRK GRYNING's previous albums.
'Pieces of Primal Expressionism' is a key step in the evolution of the band's sound and discography.
