MONTY PICON's origins date back to the summer of 2006, when nine musicians from Rennes decided to form a rock collective with a brass band feel, with the aim of playing anywhere, anytime, but always with high standards... A decidedly rock rhythm section, a heavy brass section with a cinematic feel, and a banjo with a Western flavor. This is the arsenal that, for thirteen years, has relentlessly roamed from Brest to Berlin, passing through Bayonne and Brussels... Three albums, a Live, a Best Of, and a new opus currently in production. Nearly 20,000 records sold and over 1,000 shows played, at festivals, on the street, and in café-concerts. A new album, a new show, and still the same wild fervor. Soul, heart, electricity, guitars, brass, and piston. 2019 is already shaping up to be a year of intoxication and sweat. One thing is certain, these enfants terribles still have the devil in them.
