New York-based Korean-American musician Margaret Sohn, aka Miss Grit, unveils her debut album entitled Follow the Cyborg. On this first endeavor, Sohn follows the journey of a non-human machine, from its powerless origin to self-awareness and liberation. Sometimes gentle and stripped-down, sometimes volatile and explosive, the album is a sonic world of electronic experimentation and emotional electric guitars. The album was recorded entirely in her home studio with the participation of several collaborators including Stella Mozgawa from Warpaint, Aron Kobayashi Ritch from Momma, and Pearla.
