Minimal Violence's debut album, "InDreams," is, from start to finish, a true adventure through raw, energetic techno. Their records have always captured the intoxicating spirit of their live shows, and on "InDreams," there's a punk energy in its most concentrated form to date.
Ashlee Luk and Lida P are rising stars of Vancouver's thriving DIY scene. The two first met in 2012. Ashlee was part of minimalist synth-punk bands. So, they naturally turned to experimenting with synths. This led to an invitation from Soledad Muñoz to release their first EP on her Genero label in 2015.
Since then, they have spent 3 years testing their creativity, pushing their ideas and imperfections to the limit, and refining this sound and vision, which are both uncompromising and clairvoyant.
