Master Of Evil

Description

Coming from the burgeoning metal scene of Linköping in the early 80s, Mindless Sinner quickly established itself as one of the most promising bands of the first wave of Swedish heavy metal. Initially formed under the name Purple Haze in 1981, then renamed Genocide, the band finally found its definitive identity in 1983 and recorded the four-track demo Master Of Evil. Released in 1984 by Fingerprint Records, this explosive mini-album — driven by tracks like "Master Of Evil", "Broken Freedom" or "Screaming For Mercy" — captures all the energy and spirit of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal that was inspiring the European scene at the time. With this essential reissue, High Roller Records brings this cult classic back to life thanks to a remastering done by Patrick W. Engel at the Temple Of Disharmony. As a bonus, the five tracks from the band's very first demo recorded in 1983 complete this essential edition, offering a raw and authentic glimpse into the early days of Mindless Sinner. Cut at SST GmbH on Neumann machines, this audiophile version stands as the ultimate reissue of a gem of Scandinavian heavy metal.
