Textures and sounds span from the virtues of 90s grunge/alt-rock to renaissance-like melodies tied to pop music's opposing structures, sliced with contemporary collage techniques. Mija Milovic's second solo album, "Still Life" (Escho), is about focusing on emotion through intonation, emphasis, rhythm, and cadence. Mija Milovic is a Danish and Montenegrin musician, composer, and producer based in Copenhagen. She has a background in theater, performance, and improvised music creation. With several releases under her own name, she is also a member of the rock band SLIM0 and part of several other collaborations. In concert, she is accompanied by So Skinnebach (violin and vocals), Alvilda Reiter Jakobsen (guitar and bass), (drums) and Holger Hartvig (guitar and vocals).
