Live à Saint-Etienne

Description

It is in Saint-Étienne, the cradle of the group's history (they are from Ecotay-l'Olme, about forty kilometers away), that the concert was recorded. A return to the roots for this live performance, a way to close the loop before a break in the group's history. We find Respire headlining, many tracks from "Tu vas pas mourir de rire" (Les Enfants, Mimoun fils de Harki…) as well as older songs (La France a peur, Le Grand Jacques, from "Mistigri torture", Tu dis mais ne sais pas, Plus rien from "La trêve"…).
Also present, another hit composed by Mickey 3D, J’ai demandé à la lune, magnified by Indochine, and adapted here to the group's universe. An album that allows you to discover a curiosity, the song composed for the Verts (the football team of Saint-Étienne) and more specifically for one of its most famous representatives: Johnny Rep ("Tonight we play at home and Johnny Rep asks for the ball, tonight the rain soaks the jackets but Johnny Rep has scored it's good"). A bit chauvinistic but charming. To close this first live performance, Mickey 3D covers I saw her standing there by the Beatles. A nice reference.
