Backed by guitarist Dick Smith (Earth Wind & Fire, Aretha Franklin), percussionist Alex Acuna (Weather Report, Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson), bassist Sam Sims (Janet Jackson), and a group of backing vocalists, “L’Amiral” revisited the greatest hits of his career. Rearranged in superb pop-rock, country, reggae, and funk orchestrations, the timeless "On ira tous au paradis," "Le Bal des lazes," "Love me, please love me," "Tout, tout pour ma chérie," "Je suis un homme," and "Lettre à France" were accompanied by an unreleased instrumental, cleverly titled "Lee Needy."
