The Americana epic of Micah P. Hinson continues with The Tomorrow Man. Born in Memphis in 1981 but raised in Texas, Micah P. Hinson is of Chickasaw descent, a Native American tribe known for being particularly fierce in battle. On the other hand, his family belonged to a rather extreme Christian sect that he fled. The Tomorrow Man is a collection of new, heartbreaking songs written in Spain and Texas after a period of profound personal and artistic transformation. It is his second collaboration with Italian producer and guitarist Alessandro 'Asso' Stefana after I Lie to You. There is something deeply American in this album, in its lucid and desolate vision, and something equally European in its artisanal construction and its ability to move without manipulating.
