Ghost Highway (Purple Vinyl)

Description

Features FM radio broadcasts from Los Angeles, Chicago, and a session in France - 3 bonus tracks - Fully remastered - Deluxe gatefold sleeve with rare photos and detailed liner notes. In winter 1994, a year after the release of the sublime "So Tonight That I Might See," Mazzy Star was still touring and promoting the album. Some of the songs featured here are from that album, such as "Into Dust," "Bells Ring," the title track, and the single "Fade Into You." Songs like "Flowers in December" would appear on the next album, released two years later. Four of the selections are from their critically acclaimed debut album, "She Hangs Brightly," released in 1990, including the track "Give You My Lovin'" written by Sylvia Gomez and a cover of "Blue Flower" by the obscure German band Slapp Happy.
