Voices

Description

The famous contemporary composer Max Richter presents "Voices" - an album full of hope for a better and more humane world. In this time of impunity, where ignorance carries the same weight as knowledge, and with the rise of authoritarianism, it is easy to become discouraged in the quest for a better world. Through the prism of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of 1948, Max Richter has composed this new work for orchestra as a medium of reflection on the questions that confront us and to find more humane answers together. The orchestra is primarily composed of basses and cellos. The text adapted from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights is narrated by American actress Kiki Layne. A prolific musician, Max Richter constantly reinvents himself but still maintains a common foundation in his compositions, which is the idea of evocative music; it is no coincidence that his music is used in more than thirty films and series (Shutter Island, Ad Astra, The Leftovers, Waltz with Bashir...)
