The talented electronic music producer returns with a breathtaking third album. Three years after his last album, Ghost People, MARTYN joins Ninja Tune for his third full-length, The Air Between Words. Highly respected for his inimitable and constantly evolving productions, the Washington DC-based artist takes us in a whole new direction with this new album. The Air Between Words is an exploration of the essence of MARTYN: a rough groove, intelligently sculpted and cleverly composed. "Every record reflects a period of your life and finishing one reveals something about yourself," explains MARTYN. "This is my most natural album, without the music sounding like introspection." The Air Between Words therefore contains tracks that will delight dancefloors, including a collaboration with Four Tet, "Glassbeadgames," but also more ambient tracks, like the very jazzy "Drones."
