A multi-instrumentalist musician, deeply influenced by folk music, MARTY has accompanied Olivia Ruiz over the years and has distinguished himself in various collective projects, notably Les Croquants and La Varda, as well as the almost classical duo.
He is surrounded by his faithful road companions: folk guitar, banjo, mandolin, and Weissenborn for this first solo outing.
At 50, MARTY releases a solo album of rebirth, guided by a desire for authenticity and an acoustic sound where you can hear the wood resonate. The songwriting is enriched by valuable collaborations with Simon Mimoun from Debout sur le zinc, his older brother Éric, as well as features from Olivia Ruiz and Simon.
The album is part of a French-language folk tradition where the intimate is intertwined with the landscape.
