{"product_id":"martin-stadtfeld_baroque-colours_2023_son","title":"Baroque Colours","description":"Martin Stadtfeld's new double album \"Baroque Colours\" presents a colourful sonic panorama of the Baroque era, featuring original works by composers from Bach to Rameau, as well as his own arrangements of well-known Baroque hits and unknown musical gems.\nOn \"Baroque Colours,\" Stadtfeld performs a personal selection of short original works by Johann Sebastian Bach, George Frideric Handel, Domenico Scarlatti, and the great French Baroque composers François Couperin and Jean-Philippe Rameau on a modern grand piano. Stadtfeld also selected works by lesser-known Baroque composers for the first part of the album, such as Johann Kuhnau, Baldassare Galuppi, Antonio Soler, and Joseph-Nicolas-Pancrace Royer.\nFor the second part of \"Baroque Colours,\" Stadtfeld arranged a very personal selection of Baroque works for piano. Among them are piano versions of famous pieces such as Vivaldi's \"Summer\" and \"Winter\" from \"The Four Seasons\" or Pachelbel's Canon, which Stadtfeld arranged for piano four-hands and recorded with pianist Lilian Akopova. She is also his partner in the four-hand versions of a prelude from Bach's Well-Tempered Clavier and the Passacaglia from Lully's opera Armida.\nWith the \"Baroque Colours\" program, Martin Stadtfeld pays tribute to an era spanning from the early 17th century to the mid-18th century and its musical richness.\nThe double album, set to be released by Sony Classical on November 3, was co-produced by Sony Classical and Westdeutscher Rundfunk.","brand":"Martin Stadtfeld","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":55313133306200,"sku":null,"price":0.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0898\/4943\/0360\/files\/0196588332715.jpg?v=1760394815","url":"https:\/\/vinyles.com\/en\/products\/martin-stadtfeld_baroque-colours_2023_son","provider":"Vinyles.com","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
