Marsfolket

Description

Marsfolket formed a sort of Swedish supergroup with six of the most important musicians chosen from six different groups: Claes af Geijerstam (Ola & The Janglers), Bjorn Skifs (Slam Creepers), Janne Schaffer (Sleepstones), Bjorn Linder (Blond/Palmes), Bosse Häggstrom (Made in Sweden) and Ola Brunkert (Sciences Beverage). The formation took place in March 1971, and for the sake of simplicity, they called themselves the Martians. (Marsfolket in Swedish) With the help of manager Thomas Johansson, a tour of Sweden was carried out in March and April 1971, and here is the conclusion of that tour, now available on LP. The entire 54-year wait is over, and the moment has finally come for the whole world to experience what the Martians created during one month in the spring of 1971. 5 of the 6 members worked/toured with a group called ABBA....
