Mario Canonge, jazz and the Antilles at your fingertips, presents his new album! The pianist Mario Canonge is undoubtedly one of the greatest representatives of Caribbean music. Having started piano at 14 and a half, he has distinguished himself in several styles such as jazz, salsa, zouk, or fusion with the group "Ultramarine" of which he is the co-founder. He has also collaborated with many great artists such as Dee Dee Bridgewater, Nicole Croisille, Kassav, Malavoi, Michel Jonasz, Laurent Voulzy, Richard Bona, Manu Dibango... For over 20 years, Mario Canonge has been exploring the resources of his native culture (that of Martinique) to blend them with jazz and he presents today his new gem, Zouk Out. "Zouk Out is the reflection of a jazz paying tribute to the origins of zouk, to my people.
