After "grandir," a foundational first EP of six tracks driven by the success of "les filles, les meufs" (certified Diamond single, nominated for the NRJ Music Awards and the Victoires de la musique), marguerite opens a new chapter with her very first album, "guérir." An intimate and luminous record that explores the wounds we carry within ourselves, the marks they leave, but also the paths of reconstruction that can arise through them. Constructed as a series of autobiographical fragments, "guérir" explores different facets of intimate wounds: the relationship to the body, love, trauma. Without ever wallowing in pain, the album primarily seeks the light in the cracks. It tells the courage that healing requires: facing one's fears, learning to live with one's flaws, and celebrating one's strengths. Through her songs, marguerite transforms the intimate into a space of connection and repair. While "guérir" naturally extends "grandir," with the same artistic and creative team at work, it also asserts a more radical and embraced musical evolution. Guitars take up more space, folk and UK influences are more clearly outlined, enriching a direct, sensitive, and luminous pop. In both writing and production, marguerite seeks straightforward gestures, without detours. She confirms her talent for putting simple and impactful words to complex emotions, capturing the contradictions of a generation that moves between anxiety, the need for love, and the search for light. In addition to the powerful "la boss" and the intimate "crash test," the album includes the new single "bellevie."
