Margaux Gazur presents her debut album "Blurred Memories" on Smallville, an unprecedented quest for her musical origins, lasting nearly 70 minutes. Margaux Gazur is a Franco-Vietnamese composer, musician, producer and DJ, now based in Berlin. After living 5 years in Vietnam from 2012, she set out in search of the sounds of her roots, interpreted as field recordings, mixed with traditional instruments and the sounds of her blurry childhood memories.The tracks of her debut album reveal their magic with great subtlety, filled with lively rhythms from the sounds of the streets of Hanoi, evolving layers of enchanting sonorities and organic textures creating an intimate and unique atmosphere. Each track offers a new discovery upon listening: mysterious voices and fragile elements rub shoulders with beautiful melodies and floating glitches, organic grooves and hypnotic oscillations, all punctuated by magical moments. Dizzying pads that snake and shift. There is so much to discover in "Blurred Memories".
