Chance Worth Taking

Description

Originally from Louisiana, Marc Broussard embodies a rare ability to blend classic R&B, rock, and soul with a decidedly contemporary sensibility. The son of guitarist Ted Broussard, a member of the Louisiana Hall of Fame and a pillar of The Boogie Kings, he grew up at the heart of Lafayette's vibrant music scene, where he forged his artistic identity early on. Revealed to the general public with his album Carencro and the success of the track "Home," he has moved between major labels and a self-assured independence, notably through his foundation S.O.S. (Save Our Soul). After a notable collaboration with blues giant Joe Bonamassa, Marc Broussard returns with 14 original compositions blending blues and soul, produced by the Grammy-nominated duo Joe Bonamassa and Josh Smith. An intense, sincere, and vibrant project. In March 2026, he will defend this new repertoire during a European tour alongside Brian Mackey, confirming his status as a modern ambassador of Southern soul.
