Mark Kelly, famous keyboardist of Marillion, turned his vision into reality by creating his band Marathon. For this project, the keyboardist is joined by Guy Vickers, Oliver M. Smith (vocals), Pete "Woody" Wood (guitar), John Cordy (guitar), Henry Rogers (drums), and his nephew Conal Kelly (bass). The band recorded 'Mark Kelly's Marathon', their first studio album during the lockdown, between March and July 2020, with each musician in different locations. It was only at the end of July that the members reunited at Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios to film a live version of the album, available as a bonus DVD with the CD format. The first album of Mark Kelly's new solo project, 'Marathon'. There are 3 editions: - the standard Digipak CD, - the special edition CD with DVD, a limited edition containing a performance of the entire album recorded live in the Real World studios with behind-the-scenes footage, and - a 180 g VINYL version in a Gatefold Sleeve.
