Mot de l'artiste :"When Shooter and I decided to enter the creative process of this album two years ago, we were both on tour separately and we had to find time in our respective schedules. We both shared a love for the era when Bowie worked with Brian Eno. I wasn't afraid to step out of my comfort zone by writing music with him. He also helped me overcome my fears of returning to older inspirations. As a producer, he really helped me be inventive while trying new things, keeping the essence of what Marilyn Manson is. His perspectives added to the project the trans-dimensional effect I had wanted to achieve for a long time. When I listen to WE ARE CHAOS now, I feel like I have stayed true, or as if my story is an endless repetitive loop, as it always has been, recording the songs and these stories makes me feel like I wrote everything today."
