Description

In sports or at university, they call them "false beginners". While Mandibula is their first foray into the death metal genre, the musicians all have extensive résumés in independent and innovative music. Let's say they're operating under a disguise, which suits their new, unsettling, and morbid universe perfectly. The band is a single entity, a secret society composed of five members: vocalist FK, bassist RC, drummer AP, and guitarists NC and ALG. They never highlight their "background" when introducing Mandibula. If you do some digging, you might discover they've been seen or heard in very different contexts: La Colonie de Vacances, Les Agamemnonz, Pyjamarama, John Makay, Spelterini, and probably a dozen others... False debut but true output: with each appearance, Mandibula delivers an intense session of grimy, brutal death metal, rich in riffs, grind aggressions, and noise asperities. Geographically scattered across a large swamp connecting the Loire, Seine, and Somme to Alsace, Mandibula's mercenaries only come together to commit their misdeeds: record, tear up stages, and observe humanity's march toward its anthropophagic extinction.--- Guillaume Gwardeath ---
