The enfant terrible of elegant synth-pop returns after a long 70-date tour and acclaimed performances at France's most prominent festivals (Nuits de Fourvière, Francofolies, Pete The Monkey, MIDI Festival, Biarritz en été, Rock en Seine, Coconut Festival...), with his new album mixed by Ash Workman (Metronomy). This will be one of the most anticipated French albums of early 2019. A revelation in 2017 with his first solo album, naturally titled Un and driven by the hit singles Sous garantie and Cinéma, Malik Djoudi offers a successor with a programmatic title: Tempéraments. A strong character with innate charisma, the Poitiers native releases twelve new songs, at once instant and ambitious, hypnotic and haunting, referenced and liberated. Tracks steeped in current electronic music, nourished by Malik Djoudi's unique songwriting and the singularity of his androgyne voice. A skillful blend that captivated Etienne Daho, who duets with Malik Djoudi on the track "A tes côtés". On tour for 2019 for over 40 dates starting March 10 (including Le Trianon in Paris on November 20), he will be at the "We love Green" Festival this year, as well as the prestigious "Great Escape" in Brighton, preceded by a London date in March 2019.
