Description

Lamomali is the Malian album by -M-, Toumani, and Sidiki Diabaté. Twenty years after his first collaborations with African musicians and several trips to Mali, -M- embarks on this adventure with the two international kora stars, Toumani and Sidiki (father and son, one having received two Grammy Awards while the younger one is already filling stadiums in Africa under his own name), alongside the immense singer Fatoumata Diawara (notably discovered through the success of the film Timbuktu, which won 7 Césars in 2015) and many guests from all walks of life, to build a bridge between Paris, Bamako, and the world.
Lamomali is a great afro pop record mixed by Philippe Zdar (Cassius/ The Rapture, Phoenix, Sébastien Tellier) and Olivier Lude (Vanessa Paradis, Yodélice). Lamomali is a record bubbling with life and love, talent and audacity, innovation and unbridled imagination.
