LUPO, with the wolf at his heels, bravely confronts his demons through the raw and sincere words of his singer. At the origins of this wild and fragile adventure, René Bergier was the ambassador of La Belle Bleue for 17 years. At the beginning, he brought two trusted musician friends on board: Nicolas Hild on percussion and Fabien Tabuteau on machines and synths. In unison, the trio composes, demos, and presents to our ears and raised hairs a singular and convinced stance. Dancing on the embers of a struggling and battered score, displaying a freedom and horizon like no other, LUPO was born. After a life of independence with his previous band, René Bergier, an adopted resident of Guérande, Corsican and corsair by blood and heart, emerges from his lair like a hungry beast, to show that he has fangs, but also a thirst for new stories spontaneously darkened. Without denying his insatiable appetite for beautiful lyrical songs, he swaps his guitar to embrace electronic fire and rock energy as suspended, soaring, and refined moments.
