Released in 2005, Feral Hymns is the 11th full-length album from the Baltimore-based band Lungfish. Comprising Daniel Higgs (vocals), Asa Osborne (guitar), Sean Meadows (bass), and Mitchell Feldstein (drums), this record continues the band's unique exploration, characterized by a fusion of continuous musical consciousness. Active for over 20 years on the Dischord Records label, Lungfish made history with captivating bi-monthly performances. Today, the band is almost gone, but after Feral Hymns, Higgs pursued a solo career, releasing albums on Northern Liberties, Thrill Jockey, and Holy Mountain, while also continuing his visual art practice. Asa Osborne, meanwhile, embarked on a solo project under the name The Zomes.
