Discover the sophisticated pop of LUMP: the collaborative project of Laura Marling and Mike Lindsay. "LUMP" is a collaborative album between Laura Marling and Mike Lindsay, one of the founding members of Tunng and Throws, a prolific producer awarded at the Mercury Prize. The album was recorded in Mike Lindsay's underground studio in London. While writing "LUMP," Marling was inspired by the surrealism of the early 20th century and the absurd poets Edward Lear and Ivor Cutler. Lindsay released the first album of Throws in 2016, and the latest album from Tunng ("Turbines") was released in 2013. This album is a creation that passes through us, and we look at it as parents. LUMP is like a kind of creature that has come to life and continues to grow on its own. Lindsay and Marling naturally assist it.
