Yemamaya is the first album by the Franco-Brazilian duo Luizga & iZem, blending Afro-Brazilian roots, electronic music, and cosmopolitan songwriting. Born in Lisbon, this project unites Luizga's spiritual voice with iZem's hybrid and urban production, for a sonic journey that is both intimate and universal.At the heart of the album, the title track pays homage to the sea goddess Yemanja, blending sacred groove and luminous energy. The duo also revisits the classic ""Say My Name" in an R&B version with Brazilian and afrobeats accents, while ""Feelings Going Through", featuring Curumin, explores emotion through a soft and subtle soul.Anchored in Brazilian heritage and open to global sounds, Yemamaya is a free, sensitive, and transcontinental work, between introspection and celebration.
