Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827): Sonata in E-flat major Op. 27 No. 1, quasi una fantasia, Sonata in C-sharp minor Op. 27 No. 2, quasi una fantasia “Clair de lune”, Sonata in D minor Op. 31 No. 2 “Tempest”. This is the period of the composition of the ballet The Creatures of Prometheus (Op. 43), a performance drawing from mythology, containing elements of an implicit claim for the advent of a Humanity liberated from despotism...
