Founded in Chicago during the pandemic, the supergroup L.S. Dunes brings together singer Anthony Green (Circa Survive), guitarists Frank Iero (My Chemical Romance), Travis Stever (Coheed and Cambria), and Thursday's rhythm section, consisting of bassist Tim Payne and drummer Tucker Rule.
Between indie-rock, hardcore, punk-rock, and emo, the quartet takes a new step forward with 'Violet,' their second album. Produced by Will Yin, the successor to the ferocious 'Past Lives' (2022) expands L.S. Dunes' sonic palette while adopting a new, more serene perspective. "This time, I really wanted to say that there was magic in this world. On this album, I wanted to celebrate music and its ability to transform us, connect us, and inspire us," Anthony Green reflects. Galvanizing, immediate, and radiant, 'Violet' illuminates L.S. Dunes in a new light.
