Known as the energetic drummer of Pogo Car Crash Control, Louis Péchinot, alias Louis La Flemme, unveils his debut solo album Rouge Artériel, co-produced with Théo Chapira. Far from metal, he offers ten indie-pop tracks in French, blending 90s punk influences, 80s variety (Daho), electro-pop à la Billie Eilish, and rock à la Lescop. This album is for him an unabashed way to explore pop, a style he considers universal, nourished by references like Weezer, Blink-182, or NOFX. Modern and eclectic, his music is both light and introspective, addressing themes of love, partying, struggles, nostalgia, and the passage of time. A sincere first record, where the melancholy of youth blends with a solar energy, between carefreeness and lucidity.
