Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald were capable of producing a magic that few jazz artists could claim. Their studio collaborations, unfortunately infrequent, gave birth to true masterpieces. In the late forties and early fifties, Ella and Louis were called upon by producer Norman Granz in 1956-57 to make three albums that would become legendary, jazz classics. This 3-LP set compiles two of these albums: Ella & Louis and Ella & Louis Again.
