Los Jaivas is a Chilean musical group, whose style ranges from folk music (traditional Chilean music) to rock music. It incorporates Latin American and especially Andean instruments and rhythms. This group was formed in 1963 in Viña del Mar, in the Valparaíso region, on the coast of Chile, and is still active.
