Description

Best known as an actress rather than a singer, Lola Albright (1924-2017) achieved her greatest fame in the late 1950s and early 1960s through her role in the television series Peter Gunn. She only recorded two albums, the first of which, Lola Wants You (1957), features her accompanied by an orchestra led and arranged by Dean Elliott, with the renowned trumpeter Don Fagerquist. Five bonus tracks from her second LP are included, all conducted and arranged by Henry Mancini.
