Recorded in a small nightclub in the city, Bamako Nights showcases the astonishing stage power this artist possessed. In 1995, the Bar Bozo was a unique destination where people could enjoy freedom, with democracy having only been in place for a year in the country. The bar was reserved for the working class who came to drink, dance, and enjoy the music all night long. At the time, Lobi was emerging as a popular artist in Bamako.
