"Eigenlicht or the intrinsic light" After the release of their EP Chap.9: l'eigengrau (March 2020), l'ivrenoir unveils on January 13, 2023, their new EP Chap.10: l'eigenlicht. l'ivrenoir writes its new chapter and expands its music and composition, incorporating new sounds and an energetic color. L'eigenlicht, an EP consisting of 5 tracks released under the Vailloline label and mastered by Remyboy, shakes up the codes of narrative music by immersing the listener in a paradoxical atmosphere. A musical oxymoron from which a dark light exhales… The Lille-based trio enjoys playing with typography and unsettling sounds. From Chap.9: l'eigengrau, to Chap.10 l'eigenlicht, l'ivrenoir takes us into an opaque, misty world, fluctuating between shamanism and industrial sounds. The atmosphere settles with a cold mineral base and a warm animal voice. On stage, l'ivrenoir transports and invites letting go. Their music is systematically accompanied by visuals that further immerse the audience, if needed, into this chiaroscuro universe.
