Live at Westville Prison
Description
Little Milton was about to present "The Blues Is Alright," the penultimate blues anthem of the 80s, when this concert was recorded. The crowd filling the Westville Correctional Center on January 14, 1983 was unanimous: the blues was indeed alive. Relying on his impeccable rhythm section (led by keyboardist Lucky Peterson, now a star in his own right), Milton played pure, hard blues, adding a few soul touches to the atmosphere. Carried by the audience's enthusiasm, Little Milton delivered an inspired performance — fortunately, this was one of those rare moments when it was immortalized. With Lucky Peterson.Buy Live at Westville Prison at the best price
