Lily Juniper's debut album, "Bloom Gloom," will be released by Friends of Friends. Co-written and produced by her long-time collaborator and partner, yours.truly, this album is a mirror of ourselves and the world around us. Inspired by the post-dubstep and indie sounds of the early 2010s and composed with great sensitivity, it explores themes of self-discovery, nostalgia, and the eternal struggle between light and darkness. Each track tells a story about what it means to be human. "I will be turning 30 when this album comes out, which feels like a very touching way to close out the last ten years – a decade that has felt like an extended childhood. As I grow older and become happier, I have also ventured into deeper and darker abysses. I am trying to grow and find inner peace in a world that is more confusing and sadder than ever. There is light, there is darkness. There is blooming, there is melancholy."
