Un tour en France

Pour this new studio album, the Stentors sing our regions and take us on a magnificent 'Tour in France'; and they do it for the first time as a trio. This new tour of song is done to the dreamy and happy rhythm of La Bicyclette, the song that Pierre Barouh gifted to Yves Montand. Then, the Stentors make their way En passant par la Lorraine, by Le Loir-et-Cher, Les Marchés de Provence or Un clair de lune à Maubeuge, meeting La Dame de Haute-Savoie, the Gens du Nord or La Blanche Hermine. Their tour of France obviously passes through Les Champs-Élysées but also remembers the diverse identities of our country, with Fandango from the Basque Country or La Coupo Santo dear to the Provençaux, but also the Corsica of Solenzara or the Guadeloupe of Adieu foulard, adieu madras. The Stentors know how to sing a plural and united country at the same time. Their loyal producer Florent Bidoyen has managed to dress these melodies and these voices so well rooted in modernity. Once again, they bring forth songs on which one cannot imagine that time could have an impact. Once again, they accomplish the miracle of renewing the colors of such a familiar repertoire. A tour in France for today and for tomorrow.
