Les Hurlements d’Léo are back in 2020 with a new album on the theme of exile: Mondial Stéréo. It is around the worrying situation of migrants that Les Hurlements d’Léo, under the impetus of their singer Laurent Kebous, present this new project, through 13 poetic, realistic, sometimes serious titles. Always filled with hope. While the overall tone of Mondial Stéréo does not betray "the spirit of Hurlements," this album explores new paths with songs featuring reggae, rocksteady, gypsy, flamenco, soul, or even Ethiopian accents.
Mondial Stéréo is an invitation to meet and exchange. From the very first stages of the creation process, Les Hurlements d’Léo worked with schoolchildren and the support of cultural organizations. This foundational work places Mondial Stéréo well beyond a simple discographic creation project, but as the work of a collective: musicians, authors, performers, illustrator, director, set designer, teachers, educators, psychologists...
